This is a DIGITAL sewing pattern for a Victorian or Edwardian men´s Norfolk Jacket worn about 1900 for cycling, riding and hunting.

A jacked named “Norfolk Jacket” appears in English fashion illustrations from 1860 as a jacket for young men. Characteristic details of a Norfolk jacket are quite big patch pockets and a belt. Some jackets have box pleats running down the fronts and back, and some have straps running down the fronts and back instead of the pleats, acting as belt loops. Some models have a yoke, some do not.
The Norfolk jacket shown in this sewing pattern is based on patterns from the following books: J. P. Thornton (1885): The International System of Garment Cutting, London. And W. D. F. Vincent (around 1900): The Cutters Practical Guide to Jacket Cutting and Making, London.

The pattern is ready to be printed out on DIN A4 or US Letter. Format DIN A0 to be printed at a plotter / copy-shop comes with a second email at no additional costs.
