This is a DIGITAL sewing pattern for a Empire / Regency dress made from printed cotton or plain silk, worn about 1810. Sewing pattern for apron, cap and fichu are included.

Please scroll down for yardage and pattern information.

This sewing pattern shows a dress with overlong sleeves and a front closure after the model of extant dresses about 1810.

The front bodice is gathered with drawstrings at neckline and waist, the dress is closed with that tapes at the front. Additionally the front can be hold together with pins. The back bodice is pointed at the center back, emphasizing the skirt´s deep box pleat.

The sleeves movement-width is gathered at the back part of the armhole. The front skirt is cut slanted along the side seam, to be sewn on plain along the waist-seam, but reaching the desired width at the hem.

Fitted to be worn over stays or a corset. Also suitable for cosplay costumes.

great pattern. I found the instructions a little confusing.

Great pattern

I only did a wearable mockup in an old bedsheet and shortened the skirt. I machine sewed most of it, except to attach the sleeves to the bodice. It came along very well, even if the instructions were sometimes harder to understand (but English isn't my first language). I'm happy with my new dress and will do the"real" version as soon as I can.
